The Comprehensive Core gallon provides 128 one-ounce liquid servings, equal to the volume of four quarts. It is a useful option for an established daily routine, with fewer bottle changes and a lower reviewed cost per serving. This guide walks through supply planning, dispensing and label-specific storage.
In this guide
Decide how you will dispense it before it arrives
Choose a clearly marked liquid measure or the separately sold compatible gallon pump. The labeled serving is one fluid ounce, equivalent to two tablespoons. Keep the manufacture date visible, plan a convenient refrigerator position and use the calculator below to estimate your supply.
Plan the bottle’s supply
Example: 128 labeled servings ÷ 1 serving used per day = 128 days; at 2 servings across the household each day, 64 days.
Result:
Counts uses, not a recommended personal amount. Each person’s directions and the bottle’s storage and date limits still apply.

Why choose 128 servings at once?
A larger bottle can simplify repeat ordering when you already use the liquid regularly. At one labeled serving daily, the gallon provides 128 days of supply. If two adults each follow their own one-serving daily routine, it provides 64 days for that household.
At the October 23, 2026 prices, four dispensing or round quarts total $296. The $234 gallon saves $62 for the same 128 ounces. Adding a separately sold $8 pump brings the first purchase to $242, still $54 below four of those quarts before tax and shipping.
Gallon value: the lowest reviewed cost per liquid serving. At $234 for 128 servings, it costs $1.83 per serving. Add the separately sold $8 pump and the first-gallon total is $242, or $1.89 per serving. That remains below the least expensive quart at $2.31 per serving. This comparison uses one-time prices rechecked October 23, 2026 and excludes tax, shipping, subscriptions and discounts.
We recommend the compatible pump with the gallon for easier dispensing from a large jug. MEL says its Plastic Gallon Jug Pump fits all MEL one-gallon jugs and dispenses one ounce per pump; it has a rotating spout and flexible intake tube. The pump is a separate $8 listing; we found no statement that it is included with the gallon. Follow the bottle’s shake-and-refrigerate directions and confirm the measured serving when using the dispenser.
Plan storage before ordering
Give the jug a convenient refrigerator position with room to lift it out for shaking. Shake the closed bottle before each use, measure one fluid ounce and refrigerate again after use. A compatible pump can make that dispensing step easier. Keep the original label and manufacture date with the jug.
Core’s displayed liquid panel uses a one-year-from-manufacture limit. It does not give a separate six-month-after-opening instruction, so confirm any additional handling questions with MEL rather than borrowing another product’s directions.
The reviewed gallon and quart panels list matching liquid nutrient amounts per one-ounce serving. The gallon offers a larger supply of that formula. For ordering, use MEL’s current product page to check availability and dispatch details.

How do you take the liquid?
MEL directs one fluid ounce daily, followed by eight ounces of pure water; it may be taken with food. Shake well before every use—settling is normal—and refrigerate after opening. The liquid serving is two tablespoons, not a dropperful or an unmarked capful. Use an appropriate marked measure.
The Core liquid label says to use within one year of manufacture; it does not provide a separate after-opening interval. Do not borrow the pH Balancer six-month instruction for Core. Check the date on your actual bottle. The gallon is 128 labeled servings, so a one-person daily routine takes 128 days; a quart takes 32 days. Storage space and the remaining shelf life matter as much as the headline price.
What should you check before choosing it?
Each full labeled serving supplies 125 mcg (5,000 IU) vitamin D3. That exceeds the general U.S. adult upper intake level of 100 mcg (4,000 IU) daily from all sources. A clinician may recommend more for a specific reason, but this is a reason to review total intake before starting. NIH vitamin D reference.
Both formulas contain vitamin K2, which matters if you use warfarin. Core provides 40 mg vitamin B6 per serving; long-term excess B6 can damage nerves. The active form is not a reason to ignore total exposure from other supplements. NIH vitamin B6 reference; NIH vitamin K interactions.
The labels advise consulting a healthcare provider before use, particularly if pregnant or nursing, taking medicines or other supplements, or managing known or suspected allergies. Keep out of reach of children. Bring the full ingredient list to that discussion. Liquid labels use broad terms such as flavors and natural preservatives without identifying every substance; ask MEL about a specific allergy rather than assuming those categories are allergen-free.
