Frequently Asked Questions About Comprehensive Core & pH Balancer
Quick, practical answers about ingredients, reviews, capsule versus liquid options, and choosing what to research next.
What is the difference between Comprehensive Core and pH Balancer?
They are separate Mother Earth Labs formulas with different ingredient profiles. Compare their current labels, serving sizes, and intended uses rather than assuming they are interchangeable.
Are liquid or capsule supplements better?
Neither format is automatically better. Capsules can be convenient for travel and carrying a measured serving; liquids may suit people who prefer measuring a serving rather than swallowing capsules. Ingredient amounts and forms must be compared on the actual labels.
Is Comprehensive Core the same formula in liquid and capsules?
Do not assume so. The liquid and capsule versions have formulation and serving differences. Compare the current Supplement Facts panels ingredient by ingredient before treating them as substitutes.
Does pH Balancer change blood pH?
Its name does not demonstrate an effect on blood pH. The body tightly regulates blood pH, and product claims should be assessed against the actual ingredients and evidence.
Can Comprehensive Core and pH Balancer be taken together?
Check both current labels for overlapping nutrients and total daily intake, and consider medications and individual health circumstances before combining formulas.
Where can I read Mother Earth Labs customer reviews?
Our Customer Experiences section identifies each quoted product, reviewer attribution, date, source and disclosed incentive. Customer experiences complement the label information and ingredient research in our guides.
Why do some supplements contain potassium while others don't?
Potassium is an essential mineral. Supplements differ in how much they supply, depending on the particular formulation. The four Comprehensive Core and pH Balancer labels reviewed here list potassium iodide as an iodine source but do not declare a separate potassium amount. That does not establish zero potassium, and the labels do not explain the manufacturer’s specific choices.
Who writes Core & Balancer?
Dr. Rich Prather, D.C., a chiropractor and founder of Grateful Lab Services, presents product-label explanations and ingredient research, distinguishing manufacturer statements, customer experiences, and published evidence.
I’m here because of the people I’ve worked with.
“I’ve spent years seeing what these products mean to the people I work with. Now I want to share what I’ve learned with you.”
For approximately ten years, I’ve had the privilege of working with an underserved community, helping people understand their laboratory results and explore individualized nutritional approaches.
I’ve followed changes in bloodwork, listened to people’s experiences, and heard genuine enthusiasm for Mother Earth Labs products. Those experiences motivated me to create this website and introduce the formulas to a broader audience.
Here’s what I believe: personal experience matters, and so does careful science.
That’s why this site goes beyond enthusiasm. We examine the actual ingredient labels, independent published research, dosing questions, and practical differences between formulations.
About Dr. Rich Prather, D.C.
I’m a chiropractor and the founder of Grateful Lab Services, with decades of experience in chiropractic practice and nutritional consulting. Much of my work has centered on helping people understand laboratory testing and discussing nutrition in the context of their individual needs.
I’ve spent roughly a decade working closely with an underserved community. That experience shaped the questions I ask about nutrient formulations and the way I explain them.
My goal here isn’t to recruit patients. It’s to make detailed, readable product and ingredient research accessible to people who want to learn before they buy.

Mother Earth Labs Manufacturing, Quality & Testing
More than a supplement label
One reason I believe Mother Earth Labs deserves a closer look is its approach to manufacturing.
According to the company, its team handles product development, ingredient sourcing, formulation, blending, testing, and packaging in-house at its U.S. manufacturing facility, rather than simply relabeling supplements made by another manufacturer.
Mother Earth Labs says it manufactures its supplements in the United States under current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards, works with thousands of U.S. health professionals, and emphasizes ingredient quality, potency, consistency, and freshness. The company also says every finished-product lot is tested by a third-party laboratory; this website has not reviewed the underlying laboratory reports.
These are meaningful considerations when evaluating a nutritional supplement company. Core & Balancer adds detailed ingredient explanations, label quantities and relevant published research to support informed comparisons.
Understanding California Proposition 65: Mother Earth Labs explains that certain mineral-based ingredients may naturally contain trace amounts of lead, cadmium, or arsenic. Its published California warning states that consuming affected products can expose consumers to lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm. A Proposition 65 warning is not, by itself, a determination of the actual exposure amount or a finding that a product is unsafe. The warning also should not be dismissed as proof of safety. Anyone seeking product-specific exposure data can request the relevant finished-lot test results from the manufacturer.

Important distinction: These are the manufacturer’s own descriptions, not findings independently audited by this website. FDA cGMP requirements do not mean the FDA has approved these supplements or established their effectiveness.
