Good Nite’s reviewed label lists 2 mg melatonin in a measured 1 mL serving. Milliliters describe the liquid volume; milligrams describe the melatonin amount in it. The product also contains other ingredients, so understanding the whole formula matters as much as reading that one number. [1]
Separate concentration from a personal instruction
Two milligrams in one milliliter describes this label’s concentration. It does not tell you which amount or timing is right for you, and it should not be applied to another brand’s dropper. Use the exact directions and review next-day drowsiness or other concerns before continuing a sleep product.
A marked measure turns the label into a repeatable preparation step. Keep the dropper, the 1 mL serving and the bedtime directions together so the routine is easy to follow.
Read the measured serving first
The current posted Supplement Facts specifies one mL and explicitly says to use the graduated dropper to measure it. The suggested-use text says one dropper at bedtime and to shake well before use because settling is normal. Read the measured volume alongside that wording rather than assuming any squeeze of the bulb delivers exactly 1 mL. [1]
Our independent guide to drops, dropperfuls and marked milliliters explains the measurement distinction. Here, the product-specific number to carry forward is 2 mg in the measured 1 mL serving.
| Entry | Declared amount | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Melatonin | 2 mg | Melatonin amount, not liquid volume |
| Vitamin B6 | 5 mg | Separate nutrient entry |
| Magnesium | 20 mg | Separate nutrient entry |
| GABA | 25 mg | Separate ingredient entry |
| L-theanine | 25 mg | Separate ingredient entry |
| Organic Herbal & Botanical Extract Blend | 525 mg | Combined blend amount, not 525 mg of each botanical |
The herbal blend names valerian root, passion flower, chamomile flower, California poppy aerial parts, lemon balm and tart cherry. The posted label does not assign each of those ingredients a separate milligram amount. Dividing 525 mg by six would invent equal shares. [1]
Use concentration as a description, not a dose recommendation
The label’s melatonin concentration can be expressed as 2 mg/mL. With 60 labeled servings, the declared bottle total is 2 × 60 = 120 mg of melatonin across the bottle. That total is inventory arithmetic; it is not an amount to take at once.
For a comparison with another liquid, use its own measured serving and declared melatonin amount. A different bottle may use a different mL serving. “One dropper” from each is not a reliable common denominator.
Nor should the bottle total be compared with a tablet’s per-serving amount. Choose either per measured serving, per mL or per container, and keep that basis consistent.
How does melatonin fit into the formula?
Melatonin is involved in the body’s circadian timing and sleep. NCCIH reviews it for specific sleep-related situations, including jet lag and delayed sleep timing. When exploring Good Nite, read that ingredient context alongside its full blend and bedtime directions; research on melatonin and research on a complete combination answer different questions. [3]
The other ingredients also belong in the decision. If you already take melatonin or another nighttime supplement, compare the full formulas rather than counting only this product’s 2 mg line.
Follow the actual cautions and current availability
The checked label says to use only at bedtime, allow six to eight hours for sleep, and not use while driving or operating heavy machinery. It says not to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding and to consult a healthcare provider about prescription medicines or other supplements. Its additional two-to-three-dropper wording is conditional on healthcare-provider instruction, not a general invitation to increase the serving. [1]
NCCIH notes uncertainty about long-term melatonin safety and recommends professional guidance for children and for people taking medicines. This article explains the label for an adult reader; it does not supply a child’s serving. Keep the bottle out of children’s sight and reach. [3]

Start with the marked 1 mL, retain the 2 mg melatonin amount, and read the rest of the formula and cautions before deciding how the product fits your routine.
